MSM Q4 Community Outreach Program

MSM’s 4th Quarter Community Outreach Program, “MSM Gives”, was structured in such a way that allowed MSM to donate to a variety of charitable causes rather than simply donating to a single institution.

MSM employees were each encouraged to “give”, in whatever way was meaningful to them, to any organization or cause that they cared about. Many of the employees stepped up and we saw a variety of giving throughout the quarter. Handmade holiday cards were made for the residents of a local Senor Living Community.  Donations of clothing and household items were made to Goodwill, Amvets, and the Chicago Chesed Fund.

A fundraiser was also put in place and cash donations were collected for the Illinois Alaskan Malamute Rescue.  Additional cash donations were made to organizations such as the Salvation Army, St Jude’s Children’s Hospital, No Kids Hungry, Tress in Israel, Alzheimer’s, and Melanoma.  This was a great opportunity for the employees to be able to help organizations and causes that mean something to them.

After the quarter of giving was over, there was a raffle drawing based on each of the organizations that were represented by the employees’ generous actions.  The winning organization received an additional $100 donation from MSM.  This year’s lucky winner was the Chicago Chesed Fun. Thanks to all of the MSM Employees who stepped up and participated in the 2020 MSM Gives program.
