Multimedia Sales and Marketing had a blast with their 2nd quarter Community Outreach event, which raised $400 and benefited the 100 Club of Chicago. Employees of MSM and INT had the opportunity to pay $1, $3 or $5 to pop a balloon. Each balloon popped was a chance to win a prize. Three different prize levels were available based on the value of the balloons. By popping the less expensive balloons, there was a greater chance to win a prize. However, the higher valued balloons had the higher valued prizes.
Some of the prizes won included:
$1.00 Balloons: candy bars, MSM pens, lottery tickets, Amope Pedi Sets, MSM stress balls, and various $5.00 gift cards
$3.00 Balloons: MSM tumblers, coffee mugs, notebooks, Shirts, Starbucks delivered personally by Tom Hughes, bring a friend to a work lunch event, a free pass to wear work-appropriate pajamas to the office, a free pass to wear a baseball cap to the office, lunch with MSM Management
$5.00 Balloons: 2 Cubs tickets, 1 week in a private office, an extra spin on the birthday wheel the month of your birthday, $50 Visa gift card, $25 Visa gift card, your choice of any open cubicle on the sales floor, a private tour of a radio station for you and a friend, and 1 week of reserved parking.
The suspense and excitement as to what prize was in the balloon made the activity even more fun, but even if the balloon only contained a “thank you for your donation,” everyone had a great time participating in this engaging and suspenseful activity.
The 100 Club of Chicago is an organization that provides for the families of first responders who have lost their lives in the line of duty. This membership-based organization offers several forms of financial assistance, access to resources and moral support. All sworn federal, state, county and local first responder stationed in Cook, Lake and McHenry Counties are included.
Since its inception, the 100 Club of Chicago has served 272 families with more than $11 million through their programs. MSM is proud to be able to help support these families and contribute to such an important program in our local community.
