The MSM Buffalo Grove location just completed a 3-part Community Outreach project that spanned two months. During this project, team members had multiple opportunities to participate and help the Chicago area homeless population by creating MSM Winter Care Kits. In September, donations of winter hats, scarves, gloves, and socks, along with non-perishable foods and toiletries were collected. MSM’s July Community Outreach program focused on our community of employees at the Buffalo Grove office. The goal of the program was simple, “Say something nice about someone you work with” and then create a “Wow Wall” for the team of Buffalo Grove employees. Multimedia Sales and Marketing had a blast with their 2nd quarter Community Outreach event, which raised $400 and benefited the 100 Club of Chicago. Employees of MSM and INT had the opportunity to pay $1, $3 or $5 to pop a balloon. Each balloon popped was a chance to win a prize. Three different prize levels were available based on the value of the balloons. By popping the less expensive balloons, there was a greater chance to win a prize. The MSM Buffalo Grove office got in the spirit of the 145th running of the Kentucky Derby with a week-long sales contest. A display was set up in the lunchroom with containers representing the different horses running in the Derby. Throughout the week, the sales team earned “MSM Derby Tickets” based on their sales performance and Kentucky Derby spirit. MSM celebrated Mike Taylor’s 30th anniversary by going back in time to 1989. During the April Birthday and Anniversary Celebration, the MSM and INT teams gathered in the lunchroom wearing their finest 80’s stonewashed denim, leg warmers, and side ponytails to honor Mike for his 30 years of hard work, dedication, and impact on the success of MSM. Congratulations to Jim Jordan the winner of two tickets to the April 8th, Cubs home opener following the two-week-long sales contest. Although Jim wasn’t the only one who felt as though he was able to spend the day at the friendly confines of Wrigley Field. The MSM Sales Team may not have been able to celebrate Mardi Gras in New Orleans, but that doesn’t mean that the spirit of New Orleans wasn’t here in Buffalo Grove. On March 5th, the MSM Buffalo Grove office took part in the Mardi Gras Sales Contest. As a kick-off to MSM’s food drive benefiting the Vernon Township food pantry, MSM held its 5th annual cook-off on Friday, February 22, 2019. Chefs from both MSM and INT worked hard creating everyone’s favorite, chicken noodle soup.
